Things I like:
- Walking! Yup, that's one of my new favorite activities. I'm getting better at it all the time. My daycare buddy and I started walking at the same time. It helps to have a partner in crime. My mommy says Auntie Christi and Auntie Joanne would agree with that.
- Playing with water. Bath time, swim class, at the CDM, when mommy and daddy try to get me dressed on the bathroom counter, if I dribble some on my high chair tray. Doesn't really matter where. If there's water nearby, I want to play with it! I haven't been able to get to Tachi's water bowl though. :( Mommy and daddy always stop me before I can get to it. Someday soon I'll get to it when they're not watching.
- Feeding myself. While I've made friends with the spoon, I still prefer to feed myself. It's must more fun. I can pretty much feed myself anything: cottage cheese, spaghetti & meatballs, mashed potatoes.
- Throwing food: Mommy and daddy are always telling me that sharing is a good thing. So, I like to share my food with Tachi by "accidentally" dropping or throwing it on the floor. I like to share even when we're at a restaurant and Tachi's not around. I dunno why mommy and daddy say stuff like restaurants won't let us come back. It's not my fault restaurants don't have dogs.
- Emptying the tupperware onto the floor.
When I was wandering around the kitchen I discovered a really cool cabinet with lots of bowls and lids. Before I figured out how to open the door, I'd scramble over to there whenever I saw mommy or daddy open that drawer. But now that I'm walking and have figured out how to open the door on my own...hehehe. Just look at what I'm capable of now! ----------> - Petting Tachi and my friends at daycare. I like to walk up to them and just hi by patting them on the head.
Things I don't like:
- Getting in trouble. If mommy or daddy yell really loud (because I'm doing something that I shouldn't be and I'm choosing to ignore them), sometimes I start to cry. I don't think my attempts at making them feel bad or guilty are working though.
- Napping. Yup, still not a fan. I'll fight it until I just pass out on the futon or floor at daycare. Who wants to miss out on all the fun?
- Putting things away. Mommy tries to trick me into thinking it's a fun game, but I'm on to her. Who does she think I am? Daddy?
