Man Am I Tired!

I spent all day looking for mommy. I checked out every corner of my classroom and couldn't find her anywhere! In fact, I was searching so hard that I only napped for 40 minutes all day!
Driving in traffic is so boring I decided to take a quick nap on the way home too. I even skipped dinner to keep looking for mommy (actually I was just too tired to eat).

Off to bed. I sure hope mommy's home when I wake up.

Have You Seen My Mommy?

Has anyone seen my mommy? She's the one on the left.
  • Here's how it works. Each morning, I wake up, mommy comes to get me, changes my diaper, gets me ready for school, makes and feeds me my breakfast.

Today, I woke up to daddy instead and man, did he get things mixed up. I didn't like the way he cooked my egg yolk, so I fed it to Tachi. I dressed me in these funky striped pants with a dog on my butt. I mean...stripes I can handle...but how am I supposed to impress the ladies with a dog on my butt! Three people have already barked at me!

Now that I think about it, I didn't see mommy at dinner last night either?

Have you seen my mommy?

Happy 10 Month Birthday to Me!

Yet another month has gone by and I'm still chugging along. Mommy says I'm not a baby anymore...which I don't get because I still drink from a bottle and poop in a diaper. Oh well...maybe mommy's losing her mind. :)

So I hear that one year, daddy spent his birthday puking his guts out...thanks to one of his friends. I don't know what kind of friends daddy has, but I sure don't want friends like that. Anyway...the reason I brought it up is because I celebrated by birthday by doing exactly the same thing! Fun huh?

You're probably wondering what happened, right? Well...I wasn't sick and I'm sure I didn't eat anything bad. I just didn't want to go to bed. One of the things that I've gotten really good at is fighting my naps. I figured I would try to fight my night sleep as well. Mommy started with my normal sleep routine...story...twilight turtle...rocking....crib. I was just about out when I got to my crib...but I was going to fight it! Fight...fight...fight...cry...cry...cry...barf!

Happy birthday to me!

Delilah = Daddy!

I'm sure you all know the story of Samson and Delilah. If you don't...Samson was super strong until Delilah cut his hair. Then he was just a wimp with a bad haircut.

Anyway...after we got back from our walk, mommy and daddy popped me into my high chair and started feeding me yogurt puffs like there was no tomorrow. I should have guessed that something was up! Daddy never lets me eat a ton of yogurt puffs. He thinks they're like kiddie drugs.

The next think I knew...I popped a yogurt puff and my hair fell out! What the heck! I hear snip snip snip and more hair comes falling from the sky! OMG! Do I have some weird disease?! What's going on?!

Looking up, I see daddy with a comb and scissors! My powers are getting weak! Uhhh...need hair.... There goes my Justin Bieber-ness!

It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood...

Finally...after days of rain and freezing cold, we got some good weather! After my nap, we took a family walk to the park.

I'm sure Tachi appreciated it too. Usually, he only gets to go on walks when it's dark and cold (early in the morning before mommy and daddy go to work and late at night after I go to bed). Today, he got to enjoy the warm sunshine and even got to play with a little girl at the park.

Yay for sun!

Yay! Here Comes My Baby Cuz!

It's been a really busy weekend.

Before I had a chance to recover from partying with Sierra and the older kids, I was off to another soiree. Uncle Jeff and Auntie Jeanette are expecting my baby cousin in a couple of months so they threw him a welcome party. Yay for presents! (check out the belly!)

They called it a shower...but I didn't see any water. I mean...if there were water around, I'm sure I'd have found it. You know how much I like to play in the water. I mean...check me out on Noon Year's Eve:

Anyway...it was cool to hang out with the family...especially my great aunts and uncles since I don't get to see them too often. Plus...when I see them, I usually also get to hang out with Kimora. Everyone thinks its so cute how we play together. Little do they know, I'm upholding the Tai boy reputation. Growing up...daddy's aunts and uncles would always say, "Uh oh...watch out for those Tai boys." Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the details on what that means or why my daddy and uncles got the reputation for being troublemakers. I'm sure there are some interesting stories out there.

So...back to my padawan Kimora. She may be older than I am, but I learn a lot from the toddlers at daycare...so I'm just sharing the wealth. We were right in the middle of my lesson on drawers when but her daddy swept her away. Darn it! It was right before I could get to the really crucial stuff too...how to open them and what to do with the stuff you find inside (toss it everywhere!). Oh well...next time! Muh-ha-ha-ha! The force is strong in this one!

Happy Birthday Sierra!

Sierra was nice enough to invite me to her 3rd birthday party at U-ME place in Menlo Park. Happy birthday Sierra! Thanks for inviting me out to play! I hope you like your present!

If you're thinking that this sounds familiar, it's because it is. I checked this place out just before I turned four months old. (old post here) It's when Auntie Christi dressed daddy and I up like little fairies. :(

It was a lot more fun this time. We played duck-duck-goose...and someone called me a goose! I wasn't fast enough to chase them down, so I had to do the ducking. Unfortunately, all of these kids are faster than I am. Not only can they walk...but they RUN! Unfair if you ask me. I went around twice (with mommy's help) and both times, I picked who I thought were the slow ones of the bunch. Man was I wrong. Both times...they got up and hunted me down. Darn it! Still the duck! The party guy finally took pity on me and took over duck duty.

They set us loose for free play and I got to check out the power tools, do some cooking in the kitchen, hang out on a trampoline, and crawl through a bunch of tunnels! I also worked on my sharing skills with another little girl in the ball pit. Hmm...maybe someone should work with vampire girl on her sharing skills!

After lunch, the party started to break up as some of the kiddos needed naps. Not me! I powered through and kept on playing. Daddy and I played with the jumbo Legos. He said he was building a fort. I don't like playing fort.

All Is Well

Thanks for everyone's concern about my vampire bite.

I went to the doctor and she checked me out. She said that it was a superficial bite and that the redness was normal. She prescribed some super-Neosporin which will take care of all the bugs that may have gotten into me from the dirty vampire's bite.

The redness and swelling keep going down and things are looking better and better.

People say that chicks dig scars, right?

Team Edward vs. Team Jacob

Can you see it?

Right there...just below my knuckle. Yup! Those are teeth marks!

I am so joining Team Jacob! Down with the vampires! Although...now that I've been bitten, does that mean I'm going to become a vampire? I wonder if Team Jacob will still want me.

So you're probably wondering what happened, right? Well, I was minding my own business playing with a toy at daycare when this huge toddler comes walking over and tries to take it from me! I'm not intimidated. I mean, why should I be? Just because he's a walker? Nope! So, I do what any normal kid would do and hold onto the toy. Then, Mr. Walking Toddler goes and bites me!

Can you believe that?! Team Edward should kick him out of the club for picking on someone smaller than him.

BTW...I cried really loud to make sure he got in trouble. I mean...it's not like I was the one who tried to take the toy from him...right? ;) Don't mess with one of the Tai boys!

Happy New Year To All!

Happy new year everyone!

I can honestly say that I didn't make it to midnight. I tried and I tried...but only got to 8:18 pm. Actually, daddy's the only one who really made it. Tachi was a lazy dog. Yes...mommy's awake in the picture, but she cheated! She fell asleep on the couch and just happened to wake up at 11:45 pm! She's got a great internal clock.

I'm really grateful for my awesome family and friends and I'm looking forward to even more fun and memories in 2011! Maybe I'll even remember some of them when I'm older!
