Ridin' in Style!

Check me out in my new wheels!

Nice Italian things with wheels: Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Peg Perego

Yup...I'm ridin' high in Italian style! Daddy says that I shouldn't get used to this and that I shouldn't expect anything like this when it's time for me to drive. He said that his first car was an orange, Toyota Tercel that some of his "friends" were embarrassed to ride in. I think daddy needs some new friends.

Daddy spent part of last weekend restoring (cleaning and disinfecting) my new stroller because my new stroller isn't so new. We went to visit a nice Russian couple on Friday and after some strong arm tactics, mommy and daddy left with the stroller and a new toy for $45! I have absolutely no concept of money...but it's Italian! It must be good!

Look Out Michael Phelps!

So you're probably wondering why Michael Phelps should look out for me when I'm just passed out in my crib. It's because my swim training started yesterday and I got worked that hard!

Back when my buddy Ky started his triathlon swim training, he bought me a speedo. Is it weird that I got a speedo from Ky? I wonder how much thought he put into making sure it was flattering to my figure.

Anyway...I now spend every Sunday working out at the Sutton Swim School in Cupertino. Here's a quick run down of the workout that Kelly (my HOT instructor) puts me through:
  1. Sing songs while we twirl and bob around in the water.
  2. Tie me up in a water noodle so daddy can drag me around the pool.
  3. Jump into the water from the edge of the pool. Climb up onto a big, blue, floating piece of foam. Crawl across said piece of foam. Jump off of the foam back into the water. (Yeah right! I can barely hold my head up!)
  4. Sit on the big piece of foam while the big people make it rock and roll in the water.
  5. Transform into a torpedo.

I really didn't like being transformed into a torpedo. Daddy gave me to Kelly and she dunked me under water and pushed me towards daddy. When I popped up, daddy was right there to save me...but I was NOT happy! Then she did it again! URGH! Kelly's not so hot anymore.

Whaaaaaaaaa!!!

Dear Dr. Richard Ferber,

You are a mean, mean person. You should not write books that my mommy and daddy can read. You are not my friend.

From,

Logan

Happy 1/4th to Me!

Yay! I've made it through the first quarter of the first year of my life...and Mommy and Daddy haven't messed me up too bad! Sure, they've let the dog lick me, they've let me go out without pants, and they've stuffed me so full of milk that I have "man boobs" (thanks Auntie Christi)...but you can't really fault them for that...can you?

So what's new:
  1. My new favorite game is to watch people try and make me laugh. So far, grandpa's the best at this game...but it sure is funny watching people make fools of themselves to try and get me to chuckle.
  2. I have a built in pacifier! Whenever I feel that fussy urge coming on...I just shove my hand in there and suck away. Mommy says she's surprised I haven't given myself a hickey. What's a hickey?
  3. I've started flying! Mommy and Auntie Christi have taken me on airplane rides! What fun...although I almost puked on Auntie Christie...too much turbulence right after I ate.
  4. I've outgrown my bath tub...so Daddy got me a new one from some nice lady at work. It's HUGE! I'll take a naked picture in it for all you ladies who are reading this.
  5. I'm over 15 pounds! My big problem is I'm the same height I was last month!
  6. I sleep through the night! This makes mommy and daddy really really happy! So happy, in fact, they kicked me out of their room! At least I have Mr. Twilight Turtle to keep me company!

Rolls and a Muffin Top!

So...a while back, I complained about how Po-Po called me little chubby (remember hsiao pong pong)? She's convinced this is a term of endearment.

Then people kept saying how they loved my Michelin man arms and legs...again...fatter is better.

Then daddy told Auntie Christi that I had a muffin top and she burst out laughing. I don't get it. I mean wasn't there a whole Seinfeld episode about how everyone loves muffin tops? Being a little curious, I did some research online. Here's what I found on Wikipedia. I'm appalled.

Isn't this the body of a god? I mean...check out those pecs!

Laughter is the Best Medicine

This weekend grandma and grandpa came to visit. I love it when they visit! My grandpa is a funny guy. So funny that he made me laugh this weekend. Daddy managed to get part of our fun on video. Check it out below.

Technically it's the second time I laughed, but the first time I laughed continuously. The first time I laughed, I was playing with daddy in the hall bathroom. He was making funny faces in the mirror. But I only did laughed once. I didn't even laugh again when mommy joined in the fun and made silly faces. Trust me, she can make some really weird faces. :p

Now it's become a game called "Who Can Make Me Laugh?". Most of the time I'll smile, but a laugh requires lots of silliness and crazy antics. Who wants to play?

Happy Father's Day!

Today was daddy's first Father's Day. He got to sleep until 9 am while grandma and grandpa watched me. Yay for grandma and grandpa!

Daddy and I got new outfits to celebrate. Mine was a onesie that said, "Of course I'm cute...just look at my dad." Daddy's t-shirt said, "This is what the world's coolest dad looks like."

We spent the afternoon with grandma and grandpa at downtown Campbell. We strolled through the farmers market. Then we had lunch at Aqui followed by gelato at Gelato Classico. Happy Father's Day!

Messy Eater

Lately, I've been sporting a bib whenever it's time to eat. That's because mommy and daddy say I make a mess when I eat. This picture is nothing. Sometimes I even have a serious milk beard when I'm done. Laugh if you must. It's not easy eating from a bottle, especially when I'm super hungry and milk leaks or sprays from my mouth. Occasionally, I eat so fast that it goes down the wrong tube and I gag. Mommy keeps telling me that I don't have to eat so fast because there's plenty of food. I can't help it though, I just really like to eat.

Me and My Hands

I recently discovered these things at the end of my arms. Mommy and daddy call them hands and fingers. I'm fascinated by them! Sometimes I like to grab my hands and interlace my fingers, like I'm plotting some master plan to take over the world. My favorite thing is putting them in my mouth. I'm not talking about a couple of fingers. I like to try to put my entire fist in my mouth. I haven't succeeded yet, but I keep trying!

BTW, does anyone know what "warms" are? Mommy and daddy say I have those instead of wrists.

Play Date with Edison

Today, I had a play date with my buddy Edison. We were born on the same day!

I've actually had quite a few play dates with him. Sometimes Tachi gets to have a play date with Buttercup and Muffin too, but that's only if we're at our house or go to Edison's home.

What do we do on our play dates? Well, most of the time we just sleep or eat while our mommies have lunch and talk about us. I never understood why mommy called it a play date when there wasn't any play part of the date. Mommy told me that one day I'd understand why it's a play date.

That day must be today! Edison and I were both awake for a while and got to play on his play mat. He has a cool turtle mirror that hangs at the center of his play mat and lots of other toys I can swat at. Thanks for sharing, Edison! Next time we can hang out on my play mat. :)
