Imagination Parade

Today was the annual Imagination Parade at my daycare. Every homebase dresses up in costumes based on a book. This year we picked my favorite book, The Wheels on the Bus. We all had yellow t-shirts that were labeled with different parts of the bus. I got to be lights. "The lights on the bus go blink, blink, blink."

We paraded around the daycare, which was lots of fun. When I saw mommy, I tried to go greet her. But I got stopped. Daddy says it's because the teachers don't want total chaos or to lose track of us kids. After the parade, all the parents hung out in our homebase and ate pumpkin pie. A few of us - Henry, Beatrix and me - played in the play yard while our parents sat around chatting. We had so much fun that we all decided to go to dinner. What a fun day!
