As I've mentioned a few times already, Mason cries and needs to be held a lot. He must be broken. Daddy's convinced that he has colic. Mommy doesn't think it's colic because he doesn't cry for three hours straight consistently. Plus one night she started to soothe him to sleep as soon as he yawned and he didn't cry. Of course, she had to hold him the entire time she slept (more on that later). Ever since that night, mommy thinks he's just overtired. There's nothing you can do to fix colic. It's just supposed to go away after three or fourth months. For all our sakes, I hope mommy's right because then there's something we can do to fix Mason.
Turns out part of the reason Mason needs to be held all the time is that he has acid reflux. He'd arch his back and throw his head back after feedings. Sometimes he'd whimper, stop eating during his feedings and cry. Mommy took him to the doctor earlier this week, and she prescribed baby Zantac for him. I had acid reflux when I was his age and had to take baby Zantac too. So, I know he'll be okay.
