Here's what he likes:
- Mum-Mums: I never got to have these when I was his age. He got to eat them because mama was trying to firm up his poop when he had his stomach virus. To be fair, mama lets me have some whenever Mason has a mum-mum. Dada says it's really entertaining when Mason is in the Bjorn and someone shows him a mum-mum package. He gets really excited; his arms flail around and his legs kick.
- People: He's very social and makes friends no matter where we are. In fact, he made a friend on our flight home from Florida. (More on our vacation in a separate post.) He flashes his smile and people love it.
- Pulling to a stand: He's gotten really good at pulling to a stand and hanging onto furniture. He likes to stand next to the tub when mama or dada are getting our baths ready. Sometimes he'll bounce up and down while he's standing.
- Swimming: He started swim class about 2 months ago. He seems to like it (at least he doesn't cry) so far.
What he doesn't like:
- Napping: There's a lot of loud crying at home on days when he only has a 20 min nap at day care.
- Being put down: He likes being held. If you try to put him down, he won't let you. He'll arch his back or go completely stiff so you can't bend his waist to make his sit. It's especially fun if he's tired or hungry.
- Being left: Dada says he cries every morning during daycare drop-off. He's so different than me. When I was his age, I'd just look up, say bye and go back to whatever I was doing
