The first Gilroy Garden trip of the season

To kick-off the unofficial start of Summer, we made our annual trip to Gilroy Gardens with the gang - Edison, Matthew, Greyson, Kyden and Sienna.

I couldn't wait to drive the bumper cars! Mama thought that Mason might want to take a turn driving this time as well. So, I proposed that we split up so Mason could drive dada, and I could drive mama. Good plan, right? Not so much. I decided that I wanted mama to chauffeur (that's a fancy word for driver that I learned from a Fancy Nancy library book) me.

And Mason? Well, he didn't like driving at all. He cried and signed "all done, all done" the entire time. In case you can't tell from the photo, he's not happy. He didn't like riding the train either.  He cried, squirmed and signed "all done, all done" on that ride too.  Seesh, he's such as a party pooper! I can't take him anywhere.

I also got to play a game at the Pitch 'n Win game area. It's the first time I showed any interest in the games. I played a fishing game and won a stuffed animal fish. I picked a blue one and called it Dory.

After lunch, everyone split up. Edison went home because he was tired. Matthew, Kyden and Sienna went to the game area. Mason napped. Dada and I waited in line to ride the Hot Air Balloon ride. Greyson hung out with mama and Mason, while Dada and I were in line. But the line was so long that Greyson had to go home before we got on the ride.  By the time we got off the ride, we couldn't find Matthew, Kyden and Sienna. Plus it was time to go home.

Unlike other trips, I didn't get to ride some of my usual rides like the merry go round, goldfish, tubs-o-fun and the spinning strawberry.
