Sharkie Claus

I've visited Santa every holiday season for all 3 years of my life. Last year Mason got to meet Santa for the first time too. Well, this year instead of visiting Santa Claus, we went to visit Sharkie Claus!

We waited in line for an hour at the Sharks Ice to have our photo taken with Sharkie Claus. I didn't mind waiting though. We got to watch hockey teams practice and do drills. They skated fast! There was also my favorite - a zamboni!

While we were in line, we got a glimpse of Sharkie Claus. Mason seemed curious and kept pointing toward the photo area. So, mommy and daddy thought he would be okay with Sharkie Claus.

Well, they were wrong. He did not like it - at all. As soon as we walked into the room, he started to cry. Anytime Sharkie Claus tried to interact with Mason, he'd freak out even more and bury his face in daddy's shoulder. I don't know why mommy and daddy thought Mason would be okay. He didn't like meeting any of the characters at Disneyland. Why would Sharkie Claus be any different? I hope Mason gets over his fear of characters soon. Otherwise, we're going to continue to have holiday photos like this one.
