Boys Can Make Onesies Too!

Not wanting to be left out of all of the fun, Uncle Edric and Daddy decided to show the girls that they could be creative too.

I Think the O.B. Just Called Me Fat

Mommy, Daddy, and I just got back from our monthly visit to the O.B. She said that everything's looking good and that my heartbeat sounded perfect!

Mommy had a couple of questions:

1. Am I head down yet?


2. How big am I?

To answer question #1, the O.B. started pressing around Mommy's tummy. Conclusion...my head's down and my butt's up. Then she pinched my butt! Twice!

Question #2 was a bit disturbing. Basically, she said, "Cheryl, you're not going to have a small baby." I'm not sure how I feel about that. Did she just call me fat?

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

Today, mommy's friends gave her a shower. To me, this sounded very strange. Mommy's a big girl...why would her friends have to help her wash up? Were her arms broken? Where was daddy and why couldn't he help her shower?

Then, I found out that the "shower" was a big party for me! AWESOME!

People played games...one of which was just disgusting! Someone collected a bunch of Kyden's dirty diapers and opened them up on the table! Those go in the Dekor, not on the table! So...once they were opened up, everyone looked and sniffed the poo to guess what Kyden ate before he pood! Gross! Auntie Jeanette is just sadistic.

After that, people broke up into teams in a race to put puzzles together. Chloe thought this was a boring game and just spaced out. Then, her mom, Auntie Aimee, Auntie Jen, and Auntie Grace all screamed because they finished their puzzle. Poor Chloe. She freaked out, jumped out of her seat, and screamed! You'd think her mom and Auntie Aimee would know better.

People brought a ton of yummy food. I ate sushi, fruit, egg rolls, flank steak, eggs, and CAKE! You have to check out the cake that Auntie Char and Uncle Ed made for me! I like cake. For some reason, when I eat cake...well, when mommy eats cake...I feel like bouncing around like a tigger! I don't exactly know what a tigger is, but I hear they like to bounce.

Everyone also got a chance to show off their creativity by designing onesies and bibs for me to wear. I'll be sure that mommy and daddy take pictures of me in each one. I just hope I can remember who's is who's.

I hope everyone had a great time! It was great for mommy to see everyone and I really appreciate all of the pats you gave mommy on the tummy. Thank you so much for all of the gifts. I'm sure that I'll get good use out of all of them. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Gliding Away to Sleep

On Friday, mommy's glider finally arrived! After daddy put in a couple of bolts, we were gliding away! Yay! Mommy's taken to the glider quite well. She says that she's getting me used to the motion of the glider so that when I come out, it'll help me calm down and eat! Yay for boobs!

Funny thing is that the gliding puts mommy to sleep too!

Mommy fell asleep on the couch but woke up at 11:55...just in time to see the ball drop. She went back to sleep about 30 minutes ago...but not before giving daddy a big, happy new year smooch! (YUCK!)

Daddy thought about taking a picture, but he knew better. Mommy would be mad!
