Daddy's Trying to Make Me to Work Already

This morning, Daddy asked me if I wanted to visit his work and have lunch with some of his co-workers. He said it would be fun. So, of course, I said yes! I was so excited to go to work with Daddy that I soiled my first outfit with a blowout poopy diaper. After a wardrobe change, Daddy, Mommy and I were on our way to work. Tachi had to stay home (again) because they don't allow dogs at Daddy's office.

When we got to his work, the nice receptionist asked Mommy for her name, and then she asked for my name. I guess I must look like a security risk and needed a badge that says I had to be escorted. She's so silly. Doesn't she know that Mommy and Daddy already escort me everywhere? They're my entourage!

Based on my experience today, work doesn't seem so bad. You get to hang out with nice people and talk about non-work related things. You have lunch and then you go home! Sometimes you don't even have to come to the office. What's so hard about that?

OMG! I have a Pinhead!

I went to visit the pediatrician today for my one month well baby visit. Daddy had to work, so Mommy took me all by herself. The doctor says I'm doing great! I'm gaining weight and growing taller. Go me! But I have a small head. =( Here're my stats from today's visit:
  • Weight: 11 lbs even (75th percentile)
  • Height: 22 3/4 in (84th percentile)
  • Head circumference: 37.75 centimeters (34th percentile)
Daddy's worried that I have a small brain because my head isn't proportional to the rest of my measurements. Why can't he just appreciate that I'm over-achieving on my weight and height?! He also says I must have gotten my small head from Mommy because everyone knows that Daddy's head is huge.

Grandma Tang also came to visit today. When Mommy told her how much I weighed now, she started calling me hsiao pong pong, which translates to little chubby. Daddy thinks it's an insult, but Mommy explained that it's a term of endearment because Chinese people like their babies fat and happy. That's me!

Can someone teach me how to say, "little old one" in Chinese please. Everyone should have a nick name.

I'm One Month Old!

Yay! I survived my first month with my new, in-experienced parents. I think I did a pretty good job breaking them in too. They've learned to function with very little sleep. They make a mean milk cocktail. And they've changed so many diapers that they're becoming pros, but I still have some surprises up my sleeve (like pooping in the bath tub when I'm getting a bath).

To celebrate my one month birthday, we had a family outing! Mommy, Daddy, me and Tachi went for a stroll at the Los Gatos Creek Trail. We stopped at the Campbell dog park. Mommy took Tachi to the dog park while Daddy fed me my lunch at a shaded picnic table. The shade's better for my baby complexion. I gotta maintain my good looks for the chicks, after all. After our stroll, Mommy and Daddy had lunch at Aqui's in downtown Campbell, followed by sorbet for dessert. Mommy would've had gelato, but she can't eat dairy because I might have a milk intolerance. Too bad for Mommy. Happy One Month Birthday to me!

P.S. My blanket is a gift from Ky. Thanks Ky! Mommy LOVES it.

Armed and Ready

Just a warning to those of you who are thinking about venturing into my diaper...the cannon's locked, loaded, and ready to fire. One problem...my aim sucks! Help Uncle Jeff! Teach me oh Jedi master!

Accomplishements:

Target: Daddy

Situation: Diaper change

Result: Right on target...unfortunately, his kung fu is strong and he threw up a hand block. (4/21/10 - 3 am)

Target: Grandma Tang

Situation: Mommy was weighing me...but I was going for the innocent bystander.

Result: Missed...horribly...but it was funny watching mommy and grandma Tang run around in a panic! I got the kitchen table, mommy's new license plates, some papers, mommy's sunglasses, a scale, and daddy's hat. (4/22/10 - 10 am)

Tachi Ate My Nipples!

Yesterday, daddy noticed that two of my nipples were missing. He searched and searched but couldn't find them. Later that evening, he saw Tachi chewing on something in his crate...guess what...one of my nipples!

It's now 6 am and daddy's cleaning up Tachi's barf...and guess what he found...chunks of my nipples!

TACHI!
