Dude...What A Night!

Can you believe that I just woke up! Yes...it was a late night last night...with my girlfriend Adrienne! Yup...she was back in town yesterday with her 'rents. Apparently they went down to Santa Cruz for the day and wanted to have dinner. Of course...I begged mommy and daddy to say yes. I NEVER get to see Adrienne (*swoon*) so I have to take advantage of these opportunities.

We met up with them at Santana Row. I took a power nap in the car to make sure I could hang with her. She is older than I am...so she doesn't need as many naps. I didn't want to seem like a little baby. We had dinner at Pizza Antica and walked over to Kara's Cupcakes for dessert. Auntie Joy LOVES Kara's Cupcakes!

On the way over to Kara's, I was walking, holding daddy's hand and Adrienne tried to hold my hand. I was so nervous, I didn't know what to do! So what happened? I inadvertently jerked my hand away from hers! DOH!

We walked around outside of Kara's for a bit, checked out these cool accent lights, and then headed home...way past my bedtime!

Public Service Announcement: Week of the Young Child

So next week is the "Week of the Young Child." Really...it is. It's a yearly celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is supposed to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. Check it out at www.naeyc.org/woyc;faq. Anyway...at CFC (Cisco Family Connection = daycare), we're celebrating by having different themes each day.

  • Monday - Pajama Day

  • Tuesday - Crazy Hair Day

  • Wednesday - Backwards Day

  • Thursday - Mismatch Day

  • Friday - Hat Day

Sooo...all you kiddos out there who don't go to CFC...I'm inviting you to join in on the fun! Take some pictures of yourselves each day, hack into your parent's Face Book and 365 accounts and post them!

Hi...My Name is Logan and I'm a Bottle Addict

Someone help me please! I'm hungry and thirsty and no one's doing anything about it!

I've been comfortably sucking down four bottles a day. Then...for some reason...my evening bottle disappeared! At first, I thought mommy and daddy just forgot. Maybe they were too tired. I don't know. The problem is it never came back! It's been like two weeks and I haven't seen my evening bottle! Now I go to sleep every night...hungry and un-comforted. :(

Now guess what...my bottles are shrinking! I'm missing at least two ounces per bottle! Maybe the doctor told mommy and daddy I could lose a few pounds. Good-bye milk gut.

I've got the shakes...I'm hungry...I miss the milky goodness and comfort of my bottles! Someone help me! Please...Logan's fading fast....need bottles....

Oh...To Have A Fetish

Remember how I said I was really tired yesterday? Well it was because I spent three hours at The Great Mall. What was I doing there? Shopping for shoes of course! (I must be mommy's son.) We started off at the Crocs store, but they didn't have my size in the sale style (black crocks with red and black plaid liners). Daddy's too cheap to buy me anything full price so the search continued.

Before we knew it, it was time for lunch. We stopped at Outback Steak House and I had grilled cheese. Why grilled cheese at a steak house? I don't know. I guess the waiter (or mommy and daddy) didn't understand my sign for beef. Next time I think I'll just moo. We went to check out the deals at Marshalls and low and behold...shoes! Mommy couldn't get my feet into the size 5 Keens. It's not that they were too short...it's that the opening where my feet go was too small! I guess I do have Uncle Eddie's "pontoons." The size 6's were a tight squeeze to get into, but they felt pretty good once they were on. The latest addition to my collection!

I now have more shoes than daddy does! Oh...and check these bad boys out! I have to grow into them, but when I do, I'm going to be the envy of all the kids at daycare! Thanks Uncle Mike! I can count on you to make sure I look cool! Hmmm...now that I think about it...I sure hope I live in a safer neighborhood than daddy did when he was growing up. I heard stories about bad people beating people up and stealing their shoes! Guess that's why daddy never owned a pair of Jordans.

Too Tired to Blog

I'm sooooo tired! To much shopping at the mall. I'll update you tomorrow.

In the mean time, I'll leave you with one of daddy's favorite new websites: Sh*t My Kids Ruined. I don't know why he likes this website so much...it's not like he has an iPad 2 or anything.

Hmm...poor dog. Now...where'd Tachi go? **smirk**
