The first time (at daycare), I didn't really get it. There were lots of other toys laying around to play with and the eggs were empty.
When we got together at Grandma and Grandpa's house, things started to click. There's supposed to be stuff inside of the eggs! Once I figured that out, there was no stopping me! Daddy and Uncle Brandon went outside to hide the eggs for Kimora and I. Uncle Brandon made it easy for Kimora and just plopped the eggs down on the grass. Of course, daddy had to make my life difficult by actually hiding the eggs around the yard...and the yard was HUGE! There were so many eggs! I even played nice with Kimora and practiced my sharing.
After the egg hunt, we had dinner (baby back ribs, chicken and shrimp shish kabobos, and sweet potato fries). Awesome! All stuff I could eat! Unfortunately, I finished off the day with a rash. Daddy said I looked like a cheetah.
The next day, we headed out to Uncle Channing and Auntie Joanna's for brunch. Even though there was a ton of yummy food, including this banana stuffed french toast, I was having an edamame craving. I ate a ton of it!
After everyone got done eating, one of the big kids hid more eggs! By this time, I was a total pro. Since the other kid (yes, there were only two of us hunting) was a lot bigger than me, Auntie Joanna gave me a hint - go for the yellow eggs because they have money in them! Cha Ching!
Even with the onset of a food coma, I managed to stay up way past my nap time. Eventually we headed out and I conked out in the car.
What an awesome weekend!
you saw kimora?! did she ask about me???
ReplyDeletep.s. how do you know that the eggs plopped on the grass weren't for you?
@Kyden: Dude...she totally asked about you! I showed her your blog on daddy's iPhone and I'm sure she's a follower now.
ReplyDeleteBTW...I did try to take her eggs, but mommy said it wasn't nice to steal from girls.
