We visited the Children's Discovery Museum this afternoon. It's been a while since we've been there. Dada figured it would be fun to check it out, especially since there's a Curious George exhibit there. Plus Mason's never been there before.
Well, we both had a great time! We checked out the fire truck, the
Curious George exhibit, Wonder Cabinet, Rainbow Pizza and Market and
Water Ways. Of course, our favorite was the Water Ways exhibit. I mean,
who wouldn't love playing in water? We both wanted to keep playing there even though they were closing.
After the museum closed, we got to run around on the grassy area and
through the bike racks outside. Mama and dada were hoping that we'd burn
off some of our boy energy before dinner. We had a blast running through the bike racks together. Don't take my word for it, check out this video mama took:
When I went to run through a different bike rack, I got stung by a yellow jacket. It hurt a lot! I cried and cried because I didn't know what happened. Luckily Mama rescued Mason before he got stung too. Dada googled what to do for yellow jacket stings, while I calmed down. Since I didn't have an anaphylactic reaction, we headed to dinner where I got some ice for my finger.
Despite the bee sting, I wanted to go back to the museum and play with the water again. Mama and dada promised that we could go back another time. Anyone want to come with?
