Rollin' Out to the Children's Discovery Museum

After my morning nap, mommy and daddy took me to the Children's Discover Museum. Ky and Matthew were already running around in the big kids area. We stopped by, said hello, and headed off to "The Wonder Cabinet," which is a special area just for me (for infants and crawlers). After a little while, Ky, Matthew, and Edison popped in and we took over the room! It was awesome! We had a few other kids stop by...but we booted them out...cool kids only club!

If you notice...the first picture is the "stare off." Uncle Mike versus me and Ky versus Matthew (back to the camera with the jeans and blue shirt). I'm not sure who won, but I tried to bang Uncle Mike's face. Lucky for him, we were separated by plexi-glass!

Instead of napping and eating, we just kept playing. Of course, that meant we all turned into a bunch of grumps!

Time to go home! Auntie Lia and Uncle Eddie are coming to visit me! Plus, I have to get a nap in before the Giant's game! Go Giants!

Getting Ready to Walk?

So Ms. Linda at daycare says I'm going to be walking early. She's predicting it will happen at 10 months. Anyone want to take the over / under bet?

To Whom It May Concern....

Dear Mr. Smith and Mr. Singletary,

I've been very disappointed in you both. Mommy and daddy don't let me watch TV so if they have the game on, I risk getting in trouble just to sneak a peak! When I do, I want to see something more than a hand off to Mr. Gore when it's 3rd and 18! I mean...really? Come on! Grow a pair, get the ball down field, score a touchdown, and let's try to get a win! I need to be able to hold my head up high when I wear this outfit!

Sincerely,

Logan

Pumpkin Patch Adventures

Today, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Paul, and Auntie Leeya all played hookey from work so that they could take Chloe and I to the pumpkin patch. Mommy's co-worker suggested Uesugi Farms farms in Morgan Hill...so we piled into the swagger wagon and headed off into the heat (it was 91 degrees when we got there)!

I've never seen a pumpkin before and really didn't know what to do with them. I tried to eat a few of them, but they didn't taste very good. At least chewing on the stems gave my gums some relief. I am teething you know. I tried to push some of them around, but a lot of them are bigger than I am! Conclusion...pumpkins are useless. I don't get it.

After wandering around the pumpkin patch and checking out the giant pumpkin pyramid, Chloe and I got to pick a pumpkin to take home. I'm still not sure what the big deal is, but I'll take any chance I can to get more stuff. Call me a hoarder.

Uesugi Farms is pretty cool. They have a train that goes around the farm, corn mazes, a petting zoo, and a carousel. Unfortunately it was just so hot that we all wanted to get out of the sun.

After cooling off in the shade, I borrowed Chloe's witches hat and tried to see if I could conjure up a spell to do something useful with my pumpkin. Maybe I could make it into a friend for Tachi or turn it into a pizza. In the end...it's still just a pumpkin.

I Am My Father's Son

Today, it became very apparent that I am my father's son. That probably makes a lot of you go, "duh." There's just some interesting similarities.

First...we both like to sleep on our stomachs. If you ask mommy, she'll tell you that we both drool too. Yes...as ashamed as I am to admit it...there is a big wet spot in that picture. Hmm...wonder why there are no pictures of daddy like this.

Second...Staph likes us both! A month or two ago, Mr. Staph visited daddy's elbow and wouldn't leave. After a weeks worth of meds, Mr. Staph was evicted...never to be seen again. Well...guess who popped up and got me kicked out of daycare? Mr. Staph! Grrr!

Mommy and daddy thought it was just my eczema acting up, but the teachers at daycare thought different. They sent me home and said I needed a doctor's note to come back. Well...mommy and daddy rushed me to the doctor that afternoon. They said they rushed so quickly because they were concerned about me. I think they were just looking for the quickest way to get me back into daycare so I would be out of their hair.

Anyway...my awesome pediatrician said that Mr. Staph lives on our skin (yes...yours too) and when we get little scratches or cuts, it's like the door is open for Mr. Staph to come visit. If you don't know...eczema is itchy. I guess my scratching opened the door a bit too wide and Mr. Staph paid me a visit. Now...it's time to evict him! The war's on!
