Pumpkin Patch Adventures

Today, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Paul, and Auntie Leeya all played hookey from work so that they could take Chloe and I to the pumpkin patch. Mommy's co-worker suggested Uesugi Farms farms in Morgan Hill...so we piled into the swagger wagon and headed off into the heat (it was 91 degrees when we got there)!

I've never seen a pumpkin before and really didn't know what to do with them. I tried to eat a few of them, but they didn't taste very good. At least chewing on the stems gave my gums some relief. I am teething you know. I tried to push some of them around, but a lot of them are bigger than I am! Conclusion...pumpkins are useless. I don't get it.

After wandering around the pumpkin patch and checking out the giant pumpkin pyramid, Chloe and I got to pick a pumpkin to take home. I'm still not sure what the big deal is, but I'll take any chance I can to get more stuff. Call me a hoarder.

Uesugi Farms is pretty cool. They have a train that goes around the farm, corn mazes, a petting zoo, and a carousel. Unfortunately it was just so hot that we all wanted to get out of the sun.

After cooling off in the shade, I borrowed Chloe's witches hat and tried to see if I could conjure up a spell to do something useful with my pumpkin. Maybe I could make it into a friend for Tachi or turn it into a pizza. In the end...it's still just a pumpkin.
