Today, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Paul, and Auntie Leeya all played hookey from work so that they could take Chloe and I to the pumpkin patch. Mommy's co-worker suggested Uesugi Farms farms in Morgan Hill...so we piled into the swagger wagon and headed off into the heat (it was 91 degrees when we got there)!I've never seen a pumpkin before and really didn't know what to do with them. I tried to eat a few of them, but they didn't taste very good. At least chewing on the stems gave my gums some relief. I am teething you know. I tried to push some of them around, but a lot of them are bigger than I am! Conclusion...pumpkins are useless. I don't get it.
After wandering around the pumpkin patch and checking out the giant pumpkin pyramid, Chloe and I got to pick a pumpkin to take home. I'm still not sure what the big deal is, but I'll take any chance I can to get more stuff. Call me a hoarder.Uesugi Farms is pretty cool. They have a train that goes around the farm, corn mazes, a petting zoo, and a carousel. Unfortunately it was just so hot that we all wanted to get out of the sun.
After cooling off in the shade, I borrowed Chloe's witches hat and tried to see if I could conjure up a spell to do something useful with my pumpkin. Maybe I could make it into a friend for Tachi or turn it into a pizza. In the end...it's still just a pumpkin.
